A live Zoom workshop where you'll build a curated collection of images, observations, and references that become your creative anchor. Work alongside 19 other thoughtful creatives.
Get real feedback from me and your peers. Finish something you actually use. Something that is yours—an archive you can hold—and keeps you off Pinterest. A working bible, not a mood board. This is unique you and no one else.
Your taste is changing. Your process is evolving. This book keeps you caught up with yourself.
The workshop will be hosted by me, Kel Rakowski. I write the newsletter, Popular, read by 9.2K creatives worldwide.

Make a Mood Board You’ll Actually Use
You have great visual taste but nowhere to put it.
Your inspiration is scattered across Pinterest, screenshots, and bookmarks. It informs your aesthetic eye, but not your actual work. You collect images but you don't use them. You want a system that matters—one that clarifies your direction and informs your decisions.
What if you had a structured way to gather, organize, and use the images that define your taste? What if you did it the old-school way—offline, tactile, real—and it became something you kept coming back to? It’s not scalable. It’s not AI.
Before Pinterest. Before the iPhone. Before we were scrolling. Designers, artists, and creatives built studio books. They roamed library stacks. They cut and pasted. They recorded what moved them. And when they were stuck, or bored of their own references, or designing something new—they opened the book. Or a filling cabinet, binder with folders, a bulletin board— it was tactile.
That practice never left. It's still the best way to build a visual point of view.
