  Use the feedback to refine your prototype and align it more closely with your audience’s needs.

Steps to Complete This Week

1. Identify Your Testers.
   • Choose 5-10 people who fit your target audience.
   • Start with friends, colleagues, or individuals from relevant communities who are likely to engage with your idea.
   • Examples of Testers:
     • Queer friends frustrated with mainstream dating apps.
     • Writers or creatives looking for new ways to connect.
     • Friends familiar with similar platforms who can provide comparative insights.
2. Share Your Prototype.
   • Use a simple and direct method to share your prototype:
     • Send a link via email or DM.
     • Post on social media with a clear call-to-action.
     • Invite testers to a brief Zoom walkthrough if helpful.
   • Example Sharing Script: Hi [Tester’s Name],I’ve been working on [brief description of your project] and created a simple prototype to test the idea. I’d love your honest feedback! [Include link to prototype or instructions to access it]Here are a few questions to guide your feedback:
     1. What’s clear about this?
     2. What’s confusing or missing?
     3. Would you engage with this? Why or why not? Thank you so much for your help!
3. Collect and Organize Feedback.

   • Look for patterns in feedback:
     • Are there repeated areas of confusion?
     • Is there a common feature or detail they liked?
     • What are the top 1-2 improvements to prioritize?

   • Make 1-2 key improvements based on the feedback you’ve received.
   • Keep it simple—this is still an early version of your idea, so focus on meaningful but manageable changes.
